The newly reunited band are seen performing on a dark stage, in front of their famous neon red AC/DC logo for their newest single. ‘Shot in the Dark’ was the first piece of original material from the band in six years, released in early October. The track was written around an idea that Malcolm Young helped create prior to his death in 2017.

Angus Young, brother of Malcolm and lead guitarist of AC/DC explained, “It was pretty much written a while back, all of the tracks that we’ve got on the album were written by me and Malcolm. A lot of them were ideas we had that we knew were good AC/DC ideas at the time. But we just never got around to getting them on record.”

The dark aesthetic and pop of neon red in the music video is giving us pre-pandemic concert vibes, and we can’t wait to get back to live music! Check out the ‘Shot in the Dark’ music video below, and don’t forget to sign up to the AC/DC waitlist to stay up to date.
