Keith Lionel Urban was born October 26 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand. The singer-songwriter grew up in Queensland, Australia where his love for playing the guitar grew. Keith has since married Aussie actress Nicole Kidman with the couple having two children.
Urban’s music career began as a guitarist for a band named The Ranch during the 90s. His solo debut came about in 1999, with her own self titled album. Since then Keith has released 12 studio albums, with 22 of his singles reaching No.1 on Billboard. His success doesn’t stop there with an amazing four Grammy Award wins and seven Academy of Country Music Awards.
