Known professionally as Lizzo, Melissa Viviane Jefferson was born April 27 1988 in Detroit, Michigan. The American singer, rapper, songwriter and flutist began her recording career in Minneapolis.
Prior to larger success, Lizzo released two studio albums – “Lizzobangers” and “Big Grrrl Small World”. Once signing on with Atlantic Records, “Cuz I Love You” was released, with the album peaking inside US Billboard 200’s Top 5. Lizzo has had great success with nominations and award winning, with three Grammy Awards under her belt.
