Brooke, Sam & Mollie, better known as The McClymonts have been entertaining Aussie country fans for the better part of the last 20 years!

Hailing from Grafton NSW, The McClymonts have become one of Australia’s leading country music entities. With five studio albums under their belt, they have taken home two ARIA Country Album of the Year awards and 13 Golden Guitar awards.

The McCymonts have been a massive part of the live music scene here in Oz, they were part of the all-star C2C Australia line-up alongside Tim McGraw and Kelsea Ballerini in 2019. They also extensively toured the US supporting Jason Aldean and performed on the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry three times.

Their transcendent harmonies coupled with their larger than life personalities have seen Sam, Brooke and Mollie capture the hearts of Australian audiences many times over and with the release of their sixth studio album “Mayhem to Madness” on June 12th they are set to do it again.

“I Got This” and “Open Heart” are the first two singles from the forthcoming album and you can check them out wherever you buy/stream music now! We caught up with these powerhouse women and asked them our Insider Quaran-TEN:

1. Get up and get dressed or PJs all day?

MOLLIE: Get dressed

SAM: Always up and dressed. The whole house is up from around 6am (not from choice, we have two toddlers.) My husband Ben starts work at 8am so I make sure I’m ready for the day before he starts.

BROOKE: PJs all day

2. Go to Iso-snack?

MOLLIE: Vegemite, tomato and cheese on a sayo

SAM: Not too much has changed as my two boys aren’t at school so whatever I make them for their lunch and snacks I’m normally snacking on myself! So currently I eat like a child.

BROOKE: Smiths Salt & Vinegar Crisps

3. Go to Quarantine cocktail?

MOLLIE: Haven’t had any! Just been drowning in wine

SAM: No cocktails just a weekend wine or G&T.

BROOKE: My signature ‘Mooty Cocktail’ (secret recipe)

4. Ordering in or cooking ?

MOLLIE: Cooking

SAM: We have made Friday night our takeaway night. We pick somewhere local to support and it gives us something to look forward to after the working week.

BROOKE: Cooking

5. Last TV show you binged ?

MOLLIE: Working Mums

SAM: I finally finished Suits.

BROOKE: Unbelievable

6. Last music live-stream you watched ?

MOLLIE: Just Instagram videos! I haven’t watched any live streams.

SAM: Some Aussie friends have been playing some music during iso which has been great.

BROOKE: We don’t have internet at our farm so streaming has been at a minimum but we’ve been playing songs around our fire-pit.

7. Most entertaining celeb to follow on socials ?

MOLLIE: Maddie & Tae

SAM: I love Aussie Tanya Hennessy.

BROOKE: Michael McIntyre

8. Last gig you went to before lockdown?

MOLLIE: Toyota Golden Guitar Awards

SAM: Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth. So, I’m definitely overdue for a gig.

BROOKE: I just had a baby before the lockdown so it’s been a while since I’ve been to a gig. I think the last one was C2C Fest last September which was awesome.

9. First artist you want to see when lockdown ends ?

MOLLIE: Any live music will be amazing!

SAM: With our tour being postponed till the end of the year we will be working non-stop. When this ends it may be awhile till I catch anyone! However, I would love to see Alanis Morrisette when she comes out.

BROOKE: My hubbies band, Adam Eckersley Band

10. The biggest lesson quarantine has taught you ?

MOLLIE: I need to stop doing so much! I’m always busy with play dates, appointments, work… I’m way less stressed so I want to keep it stripped back.

SAM: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. My work may have taken a big hit but I have found that these are the moments with my kids I will always remember. We are spending so much quality time together as a family so I am trying to see the positives from all of this.

BROOKE: Always look on the bright side of life.
