Opening its doors to the WA public in 2012, RAC Arena has hosted some of the biggest names in entertainment and sport. We’ve seen the venue transform into a tennis court, ice rink and basketball court proving to be an integral part of Perth’s live experience scene. This wee, RAC Arena is celebrating their 8th birthday.
With COVID-19 putting a hold on live events, RAC Arena have managed to adapt to this new normal by organising online events like Friday Night In dance parties and celebrating local talent with Homegrown. Most recently, with the easing of restrictions, RAC Arena have set up The Stage giving local entertainers a chance to perform again.
To celebrate their birthday, RAC Arena have announced eight community partners including the Ronald McDonald House, Autism WA, Cancer Council, MSWA and more. “We can’t wait to get these new collaborations underway and do our part to support their wonderful work, while they look after those of us in need” said General Manager Michael Scott.
