Returning with a new name and a new venue, reggae fans on the Gold Coast can rest easy knowing they’re in for the same level of fun this coming February when one of Australia’s premier reggae festivals lands on the pristine shores of the Gold Coast.
Multi-award winning Hawaiian chart toppers Rebel SoulJahz lead Good Love’s artist announcement, alongside one of the most popular artists in Pacific Island Reggae music for over a decade, Kolohe Kai. Australian-born New Zealand artist Stan Walker also joins the lineup, alongside Compton’s very own J BOOG, crowd favourites FIJI, Sons of Zion and Aotearoa trio House of Shem.
But the lineup doesn’t end there! The festival will also include Sammy J, Spawnbreezie, Siaosi, Swiss & Tree, Tomorrow People, Victor J Sefo, STNDRD, Krisy Erin & Mikey Mayz and DJ TIKELZ.
“The sunny Gold Coast is the perfect backdrop for the Good Love Festival and we couldn’t be happier to be returning for our second year. We have been working hard at the new festival venue to overcome the covid challenges and deliver the event without compromising the overall vibe we created at the last festival.” MJR’s Head of Touring Scott Mesiti
Good Love Festival will be held Saturday February 5 at Doug Jennings Park.
