Pop the boot, grab a blanket, a box of popcorn and get comfy because the drive-in is back! With social events few and far between these days, drive-ins across the country are bringing joy to social distancers.

With a mix of new releases and old classics, the drive-in is a hit for the whole family. Bringing a new meaning to socialising, the drive-in is a great way to catch up with friends and family (from a distance) and check out a new film or one of your faves.

Not only are drive-in movies making a comeback, the live entertainment scene is trialling a drive-in concert. The Bulli Showground will be overtaken by Hockey Dad for their post-apocalyptic themed concert ‘Alive At The Drive-In.’  Following the lead of Denmark’s drive-in concert, the band will perform their album while patrons use their FM radio to hear the sweet tunes. Rugged up in the car with a bunch of snacks is the perfect way to connect with music during this time.

Whether it’s a drive-in movie or a drive-in concert, both are a great way to get out and about. Check out the local drive-in theatre near you and keep an eye out for any up and coming drive-in concerts.
