Paladin Sports, a global sports apparel company founded in Australia, have joined forces with Man Anchor to form a new collaboration and further expand the #letstalk movement.

Man Anchor is a grassroots mental health and well-being movement designed to create opportunities for discussion, education and action on mental health issues that affect people every day.

Former rugby international George Smith who now heads up the Paladin Sports team in Brisbane is a strong advocate for breaking down the walls of silence around mental health issues and helping those who may need a compassionate ear every now and then “The power of a simple conversation could potentially save a life and partnering with Man Anchor will help us to empower individuals in our Paladin family clubs with the tools needed to reach their local communities”.

Man Anchor runs a number of different projects including ambassador programs, mental health first aid courses and #letstalk workshops, more information can be found here.

Steven Gamble, Man Anchor founder is excited to be partnering with Paladin Sports who have a genuine community focus. The partnership will help drive community awareness and education which are the two pillars for positive change and help to remove perceived stigmas/barriers to ultimately reduce suicide in our community.

Together we hope to engage, educate and empower sporting clubs to build a positive and proactive culture around mental health both on and off the field.
