Here at Insider we love our sport and have just launched a promotion to find Australia’s Biggest Sports Fan, with great prizes on offer from Craft Cartel. We’ve been inundated with responses which got us thinking of our top sporting memories. So we surveyed the sports nuts in the team to find our top 5 Sporting memories to get the ball rolling.

Hawthorn Heaven: Hawthorn FC v West Coast Eagles, 2015 AFL Grand Final 

Hawthorn defeating West Coast on the MCG at the 2015 AFL Grand Final. 100K in attendance to witness the boys go 3 in a row!

Roosters Reign Supreme: Sydney Roosters v Canberra Raiders, 2019 NRL Grand Final 

The Sydney Roosters became the first team in 26 years to win back to back premiership. Can they make it 3 from 3 in 2020?

Dominant Dragons: St George Illawarra Dragons v Sydney Roosters, 2010 NRL Grand Final 

Dean Young scoring and then the post-match hug with his dad Craig Young (last Dragon captain to win a GF).

Winning Wallabies: Wallabies v Wales, Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, 2013 

Watching the Wallabies take on Wales on their home soil to win in dramatic fashion 30 – 26.

Kings of the Jungle: Sydney Kings v West Sydney Razorbacks, 2004 Grand Final Series

The Sydney Kings erased a 17-point deficit to beat the West Sydney Razorbacks to take out the 2014 NBL grand final series for the second year running!
