The Royal Adelaide Show may not be coming to you in the same way in 2020, but the team behind your favourite week of the year have managed to put together a stellar line-up of content for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. From the 7 – 11 September, you’ll be able to enjoy and immerse yourself in exclusive live content throughout the day. From agriculture and cooking to cellar door tastings and NightShift. Here is some highlights from the Royal Adelaide Show ‘The Show @Home Live’ schedule: 

Cellar Door Experience 

If you’ve wanted to learn more about your favourite alcoholic drinks, tune in to the Cellar Door experience where the beer, wine, cider and spirits committees walk you through how to judge those beverages and find a winning brew. To top it off, the SA Dairy Awards Committee will educate you on the best cheese and dairy products.  

The first Cellar Door experience on 7 September at 6:00pm is all about beer, make sure you tune in! 

NightShift 

Delve into the extreme and exciting world of motorsports with NightShift. Each day is filled with something the whole family can enjoy. Tune in to watch Car Soccer where two teams push around a large soccer ball in the hopes to be crowned Adelaide’s Car Soccer Champion. Don’t miss when V8 Utes show off different driving styles and stunts and witness the Raptor take on the TRex in the ultimate race track challenge. 

The first NightShift showcases the amazing precision driving team, Team Dmax on 7 September at 7:30pm. 

Masterclasses 

The best of the best take you through the ultimate agriculture masterclasses. Spend your afternoon diving into the world of transporting horses, then join Anne Fletcher as she shows you how to graft your camellias and bring new life into your garden. Finally, learn what a champion poultry exhibit looks like with Andrew Lock and Poultry Judge Kym Hebberman. 

The first Masterclass on 7 September at 10:30am is all about floral design.  

Industry Insight 

Go behind the scenes and learn about some of your favourite Royal Adelaide Show exhibits and shows. The Industry Insight brings together professionals to deep dive into the mechanics of things like grain and fodder, preparing ex racehorses and what the judges are looking for when judging horses.  

The first Industry Insight is on 8 September at 10:30am and features Young Rural Ambassador Caitlin Heppner. 

Fireworks 

Settle down and round off your day with a stunning Fireworks show in the evening. This isn’t your normal display, each night will play music from a specific theme so you can sing and dance along with the light show on your screen. Expect an 80’s mix, a 90’s mix and a finale of the top hits of the moment. 

The first Fireworks display on 7 September at 8:30pm is all about Aussie rock!
