The Royal Opera House Orchestra and Royal Ballet have joined forces to bring us a virtual ballet. Filmed on the smart phones of performers from around the globe, the collaboration was choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon and edited by Paul McGill.
The skills of the musicians and dancers is highlighted through the creative editing. With multilayered videos, the diverse filming locations and emphasis on orchestra sections gives the illusion of attending the ballet.
