Major indoor events are back on with a bang in Sydney and the first one on the calendar packs a genuine punch.

Australian boxing sensation Tim Tszyu will put his unbeaten record on the line against a highly regarded Japanese challenger at Qudos Bank Arena on November 17.

Tszyu boasts an impressive record of 19-0. Standing in his way from making it 20 straight wins is Japanese warrior, Takeshi Inoue.

Inoue, an accomplished mixed martial artist, boasts an almost equally impressive record of 17 wins, one loss and one draw.

Inoue is ranked No. 7 in the world by the WBO, with his lone defeat coming at the hands of then champion Jamie Mungula in 2019 in a world title fight.

The bout will headline a huge night of entertainment guaranteed to quench the thirst of even the most parched sports fan thanks to plenty of quality undercards.

Starved from big-time boxing during the COVID lockdown, Sydney will get one last chance to witness Tim Tszyu’s journey toward world domination as part of the huge fight night.

After this bout, Tszyu’s fight for the world title goes global. He is guaranteed a shot at world super welterweight belt, currently held by Brian Castano, thanks to the WBO declaring Tim the mandatory challenger.

Given Tszyu was guaranteed a shot at the title regardless, this bout and challenger pose an enormous risk for the Aussie champion who has won the hearts of the nation with his willingness to take on allcomers.

Do not miss your chance to see the man who could well be Australian boxing’s newest world champion in what could be his last fight on our shores for some time.
