With Vegas rockers, The Killers set up for an epic year of touring in 2020 which has now been postponed, we’ve taken a look back at their most iconic Aussie gig, opening the AFL Grand Final in 2017.

Harry Styles‘ 2018 Aussie Tour stole the hearts of fans with his impressive high register and fragile lower register. The simple smoke-filled set ensured all eyes were on Styles whilst he performed his ten-song album and various covers. Venues were filled with glistening phone lights as he closed out the concert with his much loved ‘Sign Of The Times’ before returning for an encore.

Shawn Mendes‘ 2019 Australian Tour filled venues with incredible raw vocals and highlighted his impeccable guitar skills. Mendes managed to wow the audience with his high range and covered the classic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ by Whitney Houston. Whilst seamlessly transitioning into a piano mashup, Mendes continued to perform across two different stages, giving his all the to area.

Michael Buble’s 2020 Australian Tour included a 36-piece orchestra, conductor and three backing vocalists. All these elements helped deliver a perfect entrance of ‘Feeling Good’ as Buble appeared for the first time. His charismatic personality shone through each performance as he took the time to interact with fans. From his upbeat jazz numbers to more intimate lyrics, Buble’s flawless vocals made for a phenomenal show.

Bruno Mars‘ 24K Magic Tour in 2018 captured the hearts of Aussie fans. From young children to seniors, everyone was on their feet and grooving to the much-loved Bruno Mars sound. His fusion of singing and dance moves made for an effortless performance, leaving the crowd wanting more.

Music legend Leonard Cohen and his nine-piece band toured Australia’s major and regional cities in late 2013. His Australian and New Zealand leg of the tour consisted of 16 shows, with two held for “A Day On The Green” as open air concerts. Cohen performance of iconic song ‘Hallelujah’ was a highlight of the concert, with ‘Take This Waltz’ closing the second set, leaving the audience wanting more.

The iconic rock legends, Foo Fighters saw their Concrete and Gold Tour taking on stadiums around Australia throughout Jan and Feb in 2018, with Aussie support act The Preatures and the US’ Weezer, fans where treated for a rock and roll night like no other. With front man Dave Grohl and the band leaving nothing left on stage proving why they are one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

We are heading back to 1988 with Pink Floyd’s last Aussie tour A Momentary Lapse of Reason. Pink Floyd rocked out across Australia with one last tour making memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t expect to see the band together anytime soon, with bassist Roger Waters previously stating a reunion would be “f*cking awful”. But lucky for us, many of their tours are out on DVD or just check out our highlights.

It’s been a few years since Coldplay has hit our Aussie shores but when they do, they leave memories that will last a lifetime. Their last tour, A Head Full of Dreams played a huge 122 shows around the world blasting out their latest hits and all our old favourites like “Yellow” and “The Scientist”.

Paul McCartney has played a few secret shows in his time, but his last not so secret Aussie show bought him down under playing nationwide in 2017 with his One on One tour. The ex Beatles superstar sang all his hits and gave us a treat from the old Beatles days with the iconic tunes of “Hey Jude” and “Let it Be”

1983 saw Aussie pub rock band, Cold Chisel, make their ‘Last Stand’ together on the stage of Sydney Entertainment Centre. What was thought to be the last time that the band would perform together, they later reunited for several tours including their latest, ‘Blood Moon’.

Un-disputedly one of the most influential and iconic musicians of the 20th century. Bowie toured Australia frequently throughout his illustrious career with arguably his biggest tour coinciding with one the globes biggest albums, ‘Let’s Dance’. Fans jumped at their chance to see music royalty in the flesh, here’s a snippet of Let’s Dance live down under!

A singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer; Prince had an arsenal of artistic talent at his disposal, making him one of the greatest performers of his time. Those lucky enough to witness this talent live will be telling stories of his performances for generations to come.

Following on from the momentum of their 50th anniversary; The Rolling Stones were back in Australia with their tour ’14 On Fire’. Just like fine wine, The Rolling Stones performances only get better with age – never failing to bring the house down with their timeless rock and roll.

Calling on all rock/metal fans! Heavy metal rockers Metallica entertained fans right across the globe on their World Magnetic Tour spanning between October 2008 – November 2010. Wholehearted, pulsating performances leaving Australians with memories they will cherish forever!

In today’s society, it is quite rare to find someone that hasn’t heard the musical genius of British-American rock band, Fleetwood Mac. Going on 50+ years since the band first formed, Fleetwood Mac are still selling out stadiums across Australia, with their latest tour, ‘An Evening with Fleetwood Mac’, being no exception.

The Oils! What. A. Band! Legendary Australian rock band Midnight Oil reunited for the first time for over two decades setting upon a global tour ‘The Great Circle 2017’ giving fans a chance to appreciate all of the ‘Oilers’ classics. The tour was bookended with live performances in Sydney, with the clip below a great rendition of the ‘Blue Sky Mine’ from their 2007 concert live from the Domain in Sydney!

Pop princess Ariana Grande hit Australian east coast shores for the first time in 2017 brining her Dangerous Woman Tour down under. If you missed the concert or want a backstage look at the world tour, you can stream the official 4-episode docuseries on YouTube.

If you are voting on Australian rock classics, you can’t look past INXS! Formed by the Farriss brothers and led by front man and ARIA hall of famer Michael Hutchence, INXS burst onto the since in 1984 with their first number-one Aussie hit, when Original Sin rocketed to the top of the charts. The anthems that emerged from the mid-to late 80’s and well into the 90s will stay with us forever. Enjoy a live rendition of Mystify, live from endeavour field Sydney, 1987!

An iconic tour for many reasons. The Black Ice world tour featured the last appearance of Malcom Young and lead singer Brian Johnson on stage together across an entire tour. This tour would end up being the most successful AC/DC you’re of all time and the fourth-highest grossing tour of all time with fans flocking to see the iconic Aussie rockers and you can see why with some of the hits below!

Australia’s Princess of Pop performed at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in 2018. In a moving performance, Delta Goodrem sung ‘Welcome to Earth’ in stunning cobalt blue jumpsuit and bare feet.

James Blunt performs at the Beresford at Sydney earlier this year. In a raw and intimate concert, James sings along with the crowd wearing a modest polo shirt and jeans.

After a breathtaking career, Elton John has been touring the world with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. The three year global tour has been hailed as one of the most ‘energetic, dazzlingly-original and joyful celebrations’.

Of course, Pop Goddess Cher provides us one the best live Australian performances of all time. Bringing the pop icon to Australia in 2018 with her Here We Go Again Tour. Not to mention, making memories that will last a lifetime as she headlined the 40th Anniversary Mardi Gras Party at Sydneys Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Where do we even start! One of the greatest Hip-Hop rappers of all time returned to Australia in 2014 off the back of his eighth studio album, The Marshall Mathers. Promoted by TEG Dainty, the Rapture tour kicked off in New Zealand on Feb 14, 2014 and made its way to Australia for 3 sold out stadium concerts culminating in London at the iconic Wembley Stadium. For the thousands of loyal Eminem fans that came out to see the music icon live, it would have been far too easy to lose yourself amongst these all-time great hits!

In true U2 style, nothing is ever done as a half measure. To commemorate the anniversary of the launch of their 1987 album ‘The Joshua Tree’ one of the greatest global sensations of our time embarked on two world-wide concert tours over a 3-year period! The 2017 tour saw stadium visits including North America, Europe and Latin America. With the 2019 tour seeing the band’s first ever appearance to South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, and India amongst others.

Fight Fire Australia could be one of the greatest examples of the Australian Spirit. Fight Fire was hosted by Celeste Barber on Sunday the 16 February with a spectacular line up of both domestic and international artists. Proceeds raised went to support victims of the recent bushfires.
Queen, Fronted By Singer Adam Lambert, performed the Band’s Iconic 1985 Live Aid Set for the very first time since that legendary moment in 1985.
Drake’s boy meets world tour hit Australian shores in November 2017 after the tour having huge success across Europe and Asian. Drake was one of the biggest faces in the music industry at this time, constantly releasing chart topping songs and his single ‘One Dance’ being the top streamed song on Spotify.

Taylor Swift finished off her 1989 Tour in Melbourne the day before the singer/songwriters 26th birthday. The 1989 Album was where Taylor solidified her transition from country to pop, where she became one of the most relevant figures in pop culture. Swift’s high energy feel good tour was one to be remembered.

Keith Urban toured in early 2019 as part of his Graffiti U Tour, supporting his tenth studio album. The tour was quick to sell out with more shows and dates being announced the capital cities.

Remember before all the boys of One Direction were strong solo artists, they were baby faced boys in One Direction? Not exactly a concert, rather a performance at the logies we had to include this performance for the fan boys at the 1m19s mark.

P!nk’s concerts are exceptional with her dancers and performers making the show much more than a musical concert. The Australian leg of the funhouse tour took over the record for the biggest tour in Australia at the time. P!nk performs arial acts, whilst singing upside down.
