Like all fans of motorsport, we were gutted with the news that the Supercars Championship couldn’t go ahead this year. However, the team at Supercars didn’t let the news phase them and have come up with a great new initiative to give all petrolheads their Supercars fix by creating an online championship.

The BP Supercars All Stars Eseries will see all of the Supercars stars face off in an online series, beginning on April 8. The races will take place via the iRacing computer simulation platform and will run over 10 rounds.

Fans will be fascinated to see how the drivers’ on-track skills translate to their on-screen performance as they race virtually using high-end consoles set up in the comfort of their own homes.

The series will be broadcast on Fox Sports, Kayo, Supercars.com and social channels. You can also catch the action on the live streaming service Twitch.

The flag drops for Round One at 7pm on 8 April EST with the drivers taking on the Phillip Island and Monza iRacing track. How cool is that?
